Today is grandparents day. I'm lucky to have my granny visiting for a few weeks from Georgia. My granny and I are really close and I have always talked to her as though she was a friend.

Today by the way, was a better day than yesterday! Devan and Laila listened better. I think it helped they got 12 hours sleep last night!!!!! Sometimes I think they are sleep deprived. Busy weeks leads to sleepy children...LOL.
It feels as though thats what I have done....I've been talking to a wall all day. I feel like sometimes my kids are DEAF!! Seriously though, at times I feel like all I do is say...No, Leave that alone, be nice, stop it. Needless to say, they didn't listen very well today! Laila is going through this "terrible 3's phase" (she skipped the terrible twos I suppose!) Hopefully, them getting to bed early tonight, they'll be better for tomorrow. Otherwise I'll be hitting my head against the wall this time tomorrow if not!
Well, Thanks to my cousins Erin and Leslie I have decided to Blog too! I don't really have a exciting life but would love a way to document our life. We have a busy life and children grow up so fast I want a way to look back on these times. So with that said, I won't be on this everyday just when I feel the need to write or vent!!!!
I am a mommy to two wonderful children, the daughter of the best parents a person could ever hope for and a child of a loving and forgiving GOD. I love life and my life with my children. Being a single parent can be challenging at times but it can be so rewarding. I know my children are happy, healthy, and we have a great relationship and that is the best feeling in the world. I love to read and spend time with my family.
